Location: Leicester

Working Hours: 37 hours per week: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (Monday–Thursday), 8:00 am – 1:00 pm (Friday)

You’ll bring experience in electrical assembly (or a similar hands-on role), ideally gained within a fast-paced production environment where maintaining high-quality standards is essential. About You

• Experience in a practical, hands-on role (e.g. Electrical Assembler or Workshop Technician)
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes
• Ability to work accurately from technical drawings, written instructions, and photographs
• Confident using hand tools for product assembly
• Comfortable working at a pace while maintaining high accuracy
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Able to work independently and take initiative when required
• Willing to take ownership and responsibility for your work

Key Responsibilities

• Assembly: Build battery packs by configuring raw materials and individual cells to specification
• Technical Skills: Carry out soldering, crimping, and resistance welding, alongside the use of solvents and adhesives
• Production Process: Complete tasks such as drilling, cutting cases, hot-glueing, heat-shrinking, and labelling
• Quality Control: Test and inspect your work to ensure it meets required standards
• Development: Take ownership of your work and support the training of others as you progress
• Support Duties: Provide cover within the warehouse during busy periods and holidays
