We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Hospitality and Food team at Leicester College. This is a fantastic chance for a passionate and skilled industry professional to inspire the next generation of hospitality talent.We are seeking an enthusiastic Trainer Assessor with a strong background in Hospitality and Food. Industry experience is highly desirable, and you will bring both technical expertise and a genuine passion for developing others.
This varied role will see you working across both our vibrant commercial areas and our professional training kitchens, supporting learners in real-world and simulated environments. You will deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across a range of vocational courses from Entry Level to Level 3, ensuring students remain engaged, motivated and on track to succeed.
The ideal candidate will be student-focused, innovative in their approach, and committed to creating engaging learning experiences that reflect current industry practice.
You will:
- Plan and deliver effective learning and assessment activities.
- Support and motivate learners to achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to a high-quality, industry-relevant learning environment.
- Explore creative and innovative approaches to assessment and engagement
You will also hold:
- A minimum Level 2 qualification in Maths and English (GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent)
We are looking for someone who is a strong team player, communicates effectively, and can manage their workload while meeting key deadlines.
