Location: Sovereign House 17 Princess Road West Leicester Leicestershire LE1 6TR
OFFICE BASED - Full time office with a possibility of 60/40 working from home pending performance, full time office whilst in training.
Hourly rate: £13.25 per hour
Working Days/Hours: 37 hours, Monday to Friday 9:00am till 5:00pm or 10 am till 6.00pm depending on workload
Proposed start date: As soon as possible
Length of assignment: 30th September 2026

Brook Street in partnership with Ministry of Justice has a fantastic opportunity to join their team as an AO. This is great opportunity to gain valuable exposure/experience working within the Public Sector.

Duties/ responsibilities:

• Preparing papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings and meetings.
• General photocopying and filing, creating and updating records on in-house computer system and data input, post opening and dispatch.
• Handling counter (face to face), written and telephone enquiries.
• Ensuring compliance and administration documentation meet quality standards.

Clearance level (to be applied for by Brook Street upon a successful application):
Standard DBS

Training: No annual leave during training period of 2-4 weeks

Please note that if you have spent a period of 6 months or longer outside of the UK, in the last 3 years, we will unfortunately require an additional overseas police check, this will be the responsibility of the candidate to provide.
