Test Analyst / Senior Test Analyst - C# | Azure | SQL

We're looking for a Test Analyst and a Senior Test Analyst to join our Technology Team based from the NEXT Head Office in Leicestershire!

The Role:

As a Test Analyst / Senior Test Analyst within our Product Technology team at Head Office, you’ll play an essential part in ensuring every item reaches our customers flawlessly. This role goes beyond traditional testing; you will be at the forefront of our journey into AI-assisted quality assurance, acting as the bridge that turns creative ideas into reliable digital realities.

We don't expect you to have all the answers on AI yet. We provide the freedom, support, and training to help you explore how new technologies can sharpen our workflows and modernise our legacy tools.

• Collaborate closely within your Scrum team to provide quality assurance throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Analyse requirements to build robust test plans that keep our platforms running smoothly.
• Evolving automated regression suites using C#, Visual Studio, and ReqNRoll.
• Performing API and performance testing with JMeter DSL and NBomber to handle peak demand.
• Validating data integrity through deep-dive database testing and SQL queries.
• Monitoring cloud-based environments , including Azure ServiceBus and Cosmos.
• Experiment with AI tools as a brainstorming partner to draft test steps and uncover complex edge-case scenarios.
• Communicate with clarity to turn notes into actionable bug reports, ensuring high-quality fixes.
  
  

What You’ll Bring:

• Solid experience in functional software testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Technical expertise in C#, Playwright, and task management tools like Azure DevOps.
• Natural curiosity for prompt engineering and a desire to learn how to guide AI effectively.
• A verification mindset , understanding that technology is a tool that requires human logic and accuracy.
• An organised approach that prioritises security and protects our customer data while we innovate.
• Strong communication skills to influence others and work effectively with developers to close defects.
• Quiet confidence to handle busy moments and suggest better ways of working when you spot an opportunity.
