A successful secondary school in Leicestershire is looking to appoint a dedicated Teacher of French to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from January 2026.
Languages are valued within the school, and French is a core subject at KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to contribute to post-16 provision depending on experience. The department is supportive, collaborative and committed to inclusive language teaching.
The Role
You will teach French across KS3–KS4, with the potential for KS5 involvement. Lessons focus on building confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing, with an emphasis on cultural understanding.
You will:
Deliver engaging, well-structured language lessons
Support GCSE students with exam preparation and confidence
Contribute to enrichment such as language clubs or cultural events
Work closely with colleagues to share resources and best practice
