Caretaker - Leicester
A well-established secondary school in Leicester is seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join their site team as soon as possible. This is a full-time, permanent role ensuring the school site is safe, secure, and well-maintained.
About the Role
As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the school premises, supporting the Site Manager and facilities team to maintain high standards across the site.
Key Responsibilities
• Opening and closing the school site
• Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs
• Monitoring site security and safety
• Assisting with room setups for lessons, meetings, and events
• Supporting health and safety compliance across the premises
Experience and Qualifications
• Previous caretaking or site maintenance experience desirable
• Basic DIY and maintenance skills
• Understanding of health & safety procedures
• Reliable, flexible, and proactive
• Legal right to work in the UK
