Social Worker - Children in Need Team

* Be part of a forward-thinking team that embraces innovation and encourages a supportive work environment. What you will do: * Manage a complex caseload of children in need, regularly addressing child protection issues and navigating the Public Law Outline (PLO) processes.
* Autonomously make and implement decisions on highly complex cases, with support from management when needed.
* Design and execute intervention plans aimed at addressing the specific needs and reducing risks for children and their families.
* Prioritise tasks effectively, maintaining responsibility for your own workflow.
* Collaborate with partner agencies to secure essential support and services for the children and families in your care.
* Lead Section 47 child protection investigations and manage a variety of multi-agency meetings focused on advancing Child Protection Plans.
* Maintain detailed and updated records, ensuring that all case files are current and produce professional, evidence-based reports.
* Guide and support less experienced social workers, providing expertise and leadership to foster an environment of learning and development.
* Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to the ongoing improvement of social work practices and policies within the service.
