About the Role:

As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering stimulating and informative lessons across all areas of science, including biology, chemistry, and physics, to students aged 11-16. You will create and implement lesson plans that cater to varying levels of ability, ensuring every student is both challenged and supported in their scientific education. In addition, you will assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the school's science curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in biology, chemistry, and physics in line with the national curriculum.
* Use innovative teaching methods to make complex scientific concepts accessible and exciting.
* Assess student progress regularly, providing feedback to help them reach their full potential.
* Collaborate with the science department to develop and refine curriculum content and teaching strategies.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in a science-related subject.
* Experience teaching science at the secondary level is highly desirable.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
* Commitment to professional development and staying current with scientific and educational advancements.
