About our Nursery
Busy Bees Leicester Meridian Park, rated "Good" by Ofsted and with a capacity of 130 children, provides a loving, stimulating, and engaging environment for children to thrive academically and emotionally. Our nursery features a spacious outdoor area with a large garden divided into dedicated spaces for each age group, allowing seamless free flow for children to explore, play, and learn in the great outdoors. Conveniently located in Meridian Leisure and Business Park, just off the A563 and a short 5-minute drive from the M1 at Junction 21 and the M69 at Junction 3, we are also an 8-minute walk from the nearest bus stop on Owen Close, which serves multiple routes. The nursery offers free parking for staff and boasts a dedicated team, many of whom have over 15 years of experience, including our passionate Centre Director. Role Responsibilities:

What to Expect as a Senior Nursery Room Leader:

• Ensure that educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple rooms.
• Lead the planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of the children.
• Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a collaborative and high-performing team.
• Oversee the wellbeing and safeguarding of children, making necessary adaptations to support children with additional needs.
• Foster strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child's development.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding protocols across the centre.

Required Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate:

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory or leadership experience ideally as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
