Benefits of a Elliott Care Assistant:

• Induction and training programme
• Rates of pay are £10.50+ (Dependent on experience/qualification)
• There will be the opportunity to pick up extra shifts if you wish
• We aim to enrol employees on an NVQ2 within 12 months of taking up the position

Requirements of a Elliott Care Assistant:

• Have a passion for caring
• A warm and friendly disposition
• You will need to have excellent communication skills
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Work well within a team and independently under your own initiative
• Commitment to infection prevention and control

Previous experience within the Care sector and/or qualification of NVQ Level 2 in Care (or equivalent) is desired but not essential

Employment is subject to an enhanced DBS check

Responsibilities of a Elliott Care Assistant:

• Provide the highest level of personal care, acting as a key worker for a named group of residents
• Understand and comply to all statutory and legal requirements
• Ensure that the Care Homes values of trust, respect and care are always upheld
• Respect and maintain confidentiality of residents at all times
• Support in light cleaning duties, with meal times and resident activities

Hours of a Elliott Care Assistant:

• Day and night shifts available

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.50+ /hour

Required experience:

• good literacy, numeracy and communication skills/: 1 year
