Cover Supervisor - Leicester Pay: £100 - £120 per day Location: Leicester and surrounding areas Employer: GSL Education

GSL Education is looking for confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support a number of secondary schools across Leicester . This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with young people and gaining valuable classroom experience.

We have a high demand for daily supply , short-term cover , and long-term roles across KS3 and KS4 . This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced cover staff looking for flexible work in education.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with young people (in school or other settings)

Excellent spoken and written English - essential for clear communication and effective classroom delivery

Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management

A passion for education and helping students succeed

A valid Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor , you will:

Supervise classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher

Deliver pre-set work and maintain good classroom behaviour

Provide support to students and ensure learning continues in the teacher's absence

Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
