SEN Teaching Assistant – One-to-one – Half days

Smile Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a Leicester primary school (LE4) who require additional support in their SEND department. The school are keen to meet Teaching Assistants/LSAs to work with a small number of their SEN pupils, on a long-term basis. This position will ideally start in April and will mainly be for half days, these can vary between the mornings or afternoons, dependent on the needs of their pupils.

NVQ Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or a degree in Psychology or Special Educational Needs would be idealMy client primary school are keen to meet caring, committed and enthusiastic teaching assistants who are interested in supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health issues.

The school would love to meet any Teaching Assistants/LSA that have practical and theoretical knowledge of SEND, especially those with an interest in Autism. They are looking for the recruited teaching assistant to work on a part-time basis for the remainder of the academic year in order that they establish a good working bond with the pupil(s) they support.
