Software Engineer C
Our client’s is a leading energy transition, business supporting the most challenging requirements for power generation, grid stabilisation, and decarbonization through electrification. Partner with the best: In this role, as a Software Engineer you will designing rotating equipment control system using PRISMIC products and various OEM’s PLC’s and IED’s. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing advanced control software for power systems
- Optimising control system network architectures
- Programming PLCs using various OEM software to meet functional requirements.
- Creating configuration files for IEDs using multiple OEM tools.
- Have experience in PLC/DCS programming and configuring controllers/IEDs; Codesys knowledge is desirable.
- Have knowledge of software-based microsystems/control systems and communication protocols such as Modbus TCP; IEC 61850 and digital substation experience is desirable
