Warehouse Manager

As Warehouse Manager, you will take full ownership of the Leicester warehouse, ensuring that every process, movement, and interaction is executed with intention, clarity, and control. The Warehouse Manager will lead a high-performance team, orchestrating the flow of goods with discipline and finesse, ensuring the operation reflects the same standard of excellence as the brand itself.
Operating within a fast-scaling environment, you will act as the vital link between Leicester and London HQ, bringing cohesion, transparency, and consistency across all touchpoints. This role demands exceptional organisational ability, a meticulous approach to administration, and the instinct to anticipate, adapt, and elevate.
What the Warehouse Manager will be doing…
Operational Leadership:
- Take full ownership of warehouse operations, ensuring a seamless, structured, and high-performing environment.
- Lead and inspire the warehouse team, fostering accountability, precision, and pride in execution.
- Maintain complete visibility and control over all activities, ensuring every process is deliberate and aligned with business priorities.
- Act as the central point of alignment between Leicester and London HQ, ensuring communication is fluid, clear, and consistent.
Inbound and Inventory:
- Oversee all inbound stock movements, managing transfers, replenishment cycles, and stock takes with accuracy and discipline.
- Ensure all deliveries are meticulously reconciled against documentation and system records.
- Maintain integrity and visibility of inventory at all times, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Outbound and Dispatch:
- Direct high-volume dispatch operations with precision, ensuring every order is fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Coordinate closely with logistics partners DHL and Royal Mail, ensuring collections are reliable and efficiently managed.
- Orchestrate workflows across picking and packing, maintaining pace without compromising quality, particularly during peak trading periods.
- Uphold clear performance standards, driving consistency and accountability across the team
Systems, Administration and Process:
- Own all administrative and system-based processes, ensuring they are robust, accurate, and consistently maintained.
- Manage Shopify backend operations, safeguarding data integrity and product accuracy.
- Conduct regular audits across Shopify and Mintsoft, ensuring alignment and operational precision.
- Identify opportunities to refine systems, tools, and workflows, introducing improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Navigate complex queries and operational challenges with composure, professionalism, and a solutions-focused mindset.
Reporting and Performance:
- Deliver clear, structured reporting on operational performance dispatch metrics, stock flow, and team output. Every day, without exception.
- Analyse performance at both team and individual level, driving continuous improvement.
- Present information with clarity and precision to senior leadership.
Health and Safety:
- Uphold all Health and Safety standards with diligence and accountability.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment at all times.
- Embed a culture of responsibility and operational discipline across the team.
What COU COO is looking for:
- Proven experience within warehouse or logistics management
Strong background in stock control, inbound and outbound operations, and team leadership. - Exceptional organisational and administrative expertise, with a meticulous attention to detail, your records are always current, your reporting always on time.
- Ability to operate with pace, control, and composure within a fast-moving environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to liaise across teams and senior stakeholders.
- A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Proficient in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365.
- Fluent in English.
- Warehouse or logistics experience within a fast-paced or eCommerce-led environment is a plus.
- Experience with Shopify and Mintsoft or comparable systems is a plus.
