Corporate / Commercial Insurance Account Handler

Location – Leicester

Salary – up to 50 -60k basic (DOE) Negotiable – bonus, Pension, Medical cover, Life Insurance

Our client is at the forefront of Commercial and Corporate Insurance broking with an office structure allowing National coverage providing the highest level of client service.

With a reputation of employing some of the most respected insurance professionals in the market they are now looking to add to their existing office an experienced Account Handler.

Our client trades on an open market policy allowing access to all markets to provide the client base with the most competitive terms and cover available on the market.

The role of Account Handler – General Insurance:

· Build strong relationships with clients

· Understand all of their general insurance needs across Commercial Combined, Goods in transit, Liability, Commercial Fleet and Haulier, Professional Indemnity and Marine

· Dealing with premiums of £10,000– £500,000

· Liaise with insurers to find the best deal for your client

· Present the options back to your client and close the deal

The Requirements of the Account Handler – General Insurance:

A strong background of General Insurance

· CII Qualified desirable

· Live within commutable distance of the office or happy to relocate

· Excellent communication skills – verbal and written

· Previous Experience with the Acturis trading Platform desirable
