Contracts Manager (Facades)

The Business

A specialist facade contractor experiencing rapid growth. They operate predominantly as a principal contractor on facade installation and remediation schemes across the UK, delivering projects from £250K up to £5M.

Around 20 strong, with an experienced team, this is a business that operates without unnecessary layers — people are trusted, given real ownership, and left to do their job properly. If you have come from a larger organisation where you felt like a cog in a machine, this will feel very different.

The Role

This is a senior, autonomous position. You will take full responsibility for two to three live projects at any one time — from commercial handover through preconstruction, delivery, and final account settlement. You manage the programme, the procurement, the site teams, the EHS requirements, and the commercial performance. Start to finish.

The role is home-based. You decide where you need to be and when. Site visits average roughly once a week or fortnight per project depending on complexity. There are occasional visits to the head office — around once a month — but otherwise you are at home or on site. Location is genuinely flexible; they do not mind where you are based provided you can cover a UK-wide project spread.

What You Will Need

* Solid, hands-on experience managing facade contracts — new-build, remediation, or both

* The ability to run multiple projects concurrently and keep them all moving

* Commercial confidence — variations, cost-to-complete, final account

* Experience managing site teams including site managers and subcontract installers

* A working understanding of preconstruction, procurement, and programme management

* Familiarity with BSR processes and/or fire remediation work is a strong advantage

* CSCS Black Card preferred
