The Opportunity
A highly regarded and inclusive academy in Leicester is seeking an enthusiastic French Teacher to join its committed teaching team from January 2026. What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a teacher who:

• Holds QTS, PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Has strong subject knowledge in French and a passion for language learning
• Can design and deliver engaging, accessible lessons that build communication skills and cultural awareness
• Uses creative strategies and differentiated approaches to meet a variety of learning needs
• Works collaboratively and demonstrates patience, adaptability and enthusiasm for inclusive education

Experience teaching in specialist or inclusive settings, or adapting language content for students with additional needs, would be an advantage.

The Role in More Detail
You will plan and deliver French lessons that develop students’ language skills, confidence and understanding of culture. You will use a range of creative and differentiated approaches to engage all learners and support them in developing vocabulary, pronunciation and comprehension.

Beyond classroom teaching, you will contribute to the wider life of the school by taking part in cultural projects, European events and creative language activities that celebrate diversity and build confidence.
