Overview of the Role
In this role, you will carry out the installation and commissioning of renewable technologies within domestic properties. You’ll apply your technical knowledge to help maintain the highest industry standards, support innovation, and contribute to the delivery of cutting‑edge sustainable energy solutions. Your communication skills and collaborative approach will ensure seamless teamwork across installation and engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct periodic inspection, testing, and certification of electrical systems
*
Carry out installations, ensuring compliance with design specifications, equipment requirements, and safety standards
*
Observe system operations to verify conformance with technical and regulatory expectations
*
Investigate, diagnose, and rectify electrical failures or malfunctioning systems
*
Collaborate with internal teams and external regulatory bodies to review and enhance safety standards and protocols
*
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Key Requirements & Attributes
*
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
*
Proven experience working with renewable technologies (essential)
*
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
*
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and report‑writing abilities
*
Full UK Driving Licence
*
Additional professional training or certification is desirable but not essential
