An established Independent School in Leicester is recruiting a proactive KS2 Teacher to join its Key Stage 2 phase on a Full-Time contract from January 2026. The KS2 Teacher will begin pre-term planning before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and deliver classroom teaching from January 2026. KS2 Teacher Responsibilities
• The KS2 Teacher will plan and deliver ambitious sequences in maths and English, ensuring depth and progression.
• The KS2 Teacher will use assessment to inform personalised learning and will lead interventions and booster groups.
• The KS2 Teacher will contribute to enrichment activities, lead trips and liaise with families; the KS2 Teacher will be part of whole-school planning starting in the period before January 2026 and running through January 2026.
KS2 Teacher Requirements & profile
We are looking for a KS2 Teacher with QTS and demonstrable impact across Key Stage 2. The KS2 Teacher should be reflective, collaborative and confident in using assessment to drive progress. The KS2 Teacher will be expected to take part in pre-term planning prior to January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time KS2 Teacher in this Independent School.
