School Cleaner - LE3 Area - Start ASAP Hours: Monday to Thursday, 3:30pm - 6:30pm | Friday, 2:30pm - 6:30pm Pay: Competitive hourly rate Contract: Part-time, ongoing with potential for long-term opportunities

GSL Education are currently recruiting for reliable and dedicated School Cleaners to work in secondary and primary schools across the LE3 area of Leicester . This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and supportive school community, helping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out general cleaning duties across classrooms, corridors, and communal areas

Ensuring toilets, staff rooms, and offices are cleaned to a high standard

Emptying bins and managing waste responsibly

Following school health and safety procedures and using cleaning equipment safely

Reporting any maintenance or cleaning issues promptly to site management

Requirements:

Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school or similar environment (preferred but not essential)

A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education

The right to work in the UK

A positive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and take pride in maintaining high standards
