About the Role

The organization is seeking a dedicated Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division. This is not your typical roadside rescue role; instead, you'll deliver planned, structured repairs directly to our members at their convenience—whether at home or work. What You’ll Do

Your day will start with a clear digital schedule, allowing you to focus on:

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
• Providing member advice and recommendations
• Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with our standards

With a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and tools at your disposal, you'll have everything you need to perform quality work efficiently.

What You’ll Need

• Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Working Conditions

• Competitive base salary of £40,170, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000
• Guaranteed overtime options available
• 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, including 1 in 4 Saturdays
