Registered Manager – Residential Care Home
Location: Leicester (LE5)
Salary: £45,000 per year
Service Size: Under 10 service users
Start Date: Immediate

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a small residential care home supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs, including behaviours that may challenge.

This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a person-centred service that promotes independence, dignity, and inclusion within a safe, homely environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the day-to-day management of the service

* Lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary care team

* Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care

* Manage staff performance, supervision, and training

* Maintain full compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements

* Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and clinical governance

* Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and external stakeholders

* Manage budgets, resources, and occupancy levels effectively

* Promote community engagement and independence for service users

* Respond effectively to challenges and incidents

Requirements

* Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a care home or similar setting

* Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs

* Strong leadership and team management skills

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

* Sound clinical knowledge and understanding of person-centred care

* Good understanding of relevant legislation and CQC standards

* Financial and organisational management experience

* Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively

* Passionate, motivated, and committed to high-quality care
