An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Trauma & Ortho Team in Leicester. This full-time, ongoing locum position offers a competitive rate of £26 per hour and the chance to further develop your expertise within a dynamic NHS setting. Working across multiple sites, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy interventions to patients recovering from trauma and orthopaedic conditions. Clinical Practice Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions within the Trauma & Ortho team. Develop and implement personalised rehabilitation plans to support recovery and functional independence. Multidisciplinary Collaboration Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, medical staff, nurses, and wider MDT colleagues across multiple sites. Contribute to coordinated discharge planning to ensure safe and timely patient transitions. Patient & Family Education Provide clear guidance and education to patients and families regarding rehabilitation goals and therapeutic processes. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with HCPC and NHS standards. Adhere to professional guidelines and departmental protocols at all times. Essential Requirements HCPC Registration: Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Relevant Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar Band 6 NHS role within trauma and orthopaedics.
