Nursery Assistant

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming day nursery based in Leicester LE2. The setting provides a safe, engaging and supportive environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn and develop through play, with a strong focus on early development and wellbeing.

The nursery is looking to take on a dedicated Nursery Assistant on a long-term basis with a mix of hours each day. The successful Nursery Assistant will be supporting children across early years age groups, assisting with daily routines, activities and ensuring a positive and stimulating learning environment.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (desirable)
• Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A positive and proactive approach to supporting children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work varied hours
