Maths Teacher (ECT) - Leicestershire - January 2026
A well-regarded 11–18 secondary school in Leicestershire is seeking a motivated and reflective Teacher of Mathematics (ECT) to join its successful Maths department from January 2026.

The Role
You’ll teach Maths across KS3–KS4 (and KS5 with support as you grow in experience). Lessons focus on clarity, problem-solving and building student confidence in core concepts. The department provides a detailed scheme of work and access to a shared bank of resources.
Support & Development
Every ECT is assigned a mentor who provides weekly coaching, observation and guidance. There’s also a strong Maths network across the local trust, giving you access to specialist training and peer collaboration.
About You
- QTS or equivalent qualification in Mathematics.
- A reflective, analytical and enthusiastic teaching style.
- Ability to foster positive relationships and high expectations.
