A friendly and well-run secondary school in Market Harborough is looking to appoint a Spanish ECT to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from January 2026.
The MFL department has a strong focus on consistency, confidence-building and clear progression, making it an excellent environment for early career teachers.
The role involves:
Teaching Spanish across KS3–KS4
Delivering lessons focused on speaking, listening and cultural understanding
Using shared schemes of work and centralised resources
Receiving regular mentoring and developmental feedback
ECT support includes:
Dedicated subject mentor
Reduced timetable and structured CPD
Supportive, collaborative MFL team
Calm classrooms and clear routines
