A well-established independent school in Leicestershire is looking to appoint a passionate and skilled Teacher of French from January 2026.
Languages are central to the school’s ethos, with a strong emphasis on cultural understanding, confidence in communication and academic excellence. French is widely studied through to A-Level, with strong outcomes and high uptake.
The Role
You will teach French across KS3–KS5, delivering immersive and academically challenging lessons. The department encourages creative approaches, authentic resources and a strong focus on spoken language.
Key aspects of the role include:
Teaching motivated pupils in small class settings
Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level success
Supporting language enrichment such as trips, exchanges or clubs
Working collaboratively within a high-performing MFL department
