Registered Manager Children Residential (EBD) Leicester
Salary: £51,500 - £60,000 + £7,500 Welcome Bonus
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Service Users: Young people aged 8-17 About the Role We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed children's residential home supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high-quality care, safeguarding, and compliance with Children's Homes Regulations (2015) and Ofsted standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a stable service and drive positive outcomes for young people. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the residential home in line with regulatory and organisational standards
Ensure safeguarding and welfare of all young people is prioritised at all times
Maintain full Ofsted compliance, including inspections, audits, Reg 44 & Reg 45 reporting
Develop, support and supervise a high-performing staff team
Manage staff performance, appraisals, training and development
Oversee care planning, risk assessments and behavioural support strategies
Manage budgets, resources and occupancy levels effectively
Build strong relationships with local authorities, schools and external professionals
Promote a nurturing, therapeutic and homely environment for young people
Act as the lead for safeguarding concerns, complaints and quality assuranceWhat We're Looking For Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce (or equivalent)
QCF Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or willing to work towards)
Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in children's residential care
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Quality Standards
Proven leadership and team management experience
