Sample Maker

An established expanding fashion accessories supplier are lookihg for a Sample Maker . You will need a strong eye for detail and a refined touch, be organised and proactive, and have a keen interest in fashion accessories

The role:

An understanding of the technical side of products.

Product development, and sampling belts.

Creating technical spec sheets detailing that the construction process for costing, sampling and production.

Communicate and coordinate with relevant internal departments

Manage workload and liaise with other departments to ensure deadlines are met.

Photographing and recording of all samples.

Manage library of samples and leathers in and out of the department.

Requirements:

Self-starter with a pro-active approach to work and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good interpersonal skills; effective communication skills both verbal and written, with concise note making skills.

Active listening skills

Problem analysis and problem-solving and adaptability

Strong organisational skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Developing and implementation of product design briefs

Adaptable to changes throughout the sample development process.

Relevant internship experience is desirable.

Have a flexible, proactive, resilient and adaptable mindset

Enthusiastic, positive attitude with a collaborative team spirit

Strong experience using Microsoft office suite, i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word (CAD skills also welcome, especially Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
