Forklift Truck Driver – Permanent

Location: Leicestershire

Salary: £31,000 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance)

Hours: Monday–Friday, rotating AM/PM shifts (06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00)

Plus: Overtime paid after 40 hours + exceptional employee benefits

This client is recruiting experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck Drivers to join a respected and long‑standing manufacturing facility in Leicestershire. Key Responsibilities

* Operating Counterbalance and Reach FLTs safely and accurately in a busy production environment

* Moving a variety of products, pallets, and cages across the site

* Loading and unloading vehicles with precision and care

* Checking barcodes, customer orders, and stock items ready for UK‑wide distribution

* Supporting wider production and warehouse teams as required

* Working within a quality‑controlled, clean, and safety‑focused environment

* Completing picking, packing, and materials handling tasks

* Using MRP systems and Windows‑based software to manage stock and order information (ideal but not essential)

Your skills and experience

* In‑date RTITB licence for Counterbalance

* Proven experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing or warehouse environment

* Strong awareness of health & safety and quality standards

* Confident, accurate FLT driving skills

* A team‑focused approach with the flexibility to support other operational areas

* Good attention to detail when handling stock, orders, and documentation

* Experience with MRP or stock management systems is highly desirable
