Senior Information Analyst
Job Overview
The Senior Information Analyst (SIA) is a key role in delivering the Trust’s information strategy as it provides a point of expertise for all information and performance reporting for each customer. Customers primarily include the directorates which deliver the Trusts clinical services and corporate services.
The SIA will provide expert analytical support to ensure delivery of their directorate’s information requirements; and support the Business Information Manager (BIM) by being the technical information lead at directorate operational meetings and delivering against agreed directorate and Trust priorities. The SIA should be seen as an extension to the clinical directorate teams through continual and sustained relationship building with directorate Business Teams and clinical leads. Where required, the SIA will act up on behalf of the BIM.
The SIA will have extensive knowledge of clinical systems, NHS national data sets (specifically for mental health and community), have excellent SQL skills and be competent in the use of business intelligence (BI) tools to automate reports.
The purpose of the job must be carried out in line with the vision to automate (wherever possible) all information and performance reporting and analysis into modern tools and software leading to self-service by clients.
