A successful and inclusive secondary school in Leicester is seeking a dedicated Attendance Officer to join their pastoral and safeguarding team from January 2026 .
The Role
You will play a key role in improving pupil attendance and promoting positive engagement. Duties include:
- Monitoring daily registers and student punctuality
- Making first-day absence calls and home communication
- Preparing attendance reports for Heads of Year and SLT
- Coordinating attendance panels and parent meetings
- Liaising with external agencies where required
- Supporting safeguarding protocols linked to absence
