You will deliver a stimulating and rigorous Psychology curriculum, with a strong emphasis on scientific method, cognitive processes, and the application of psychological theory to real-life contexts. Students are supported to develop critical thinking, independent research skills, and evaluative writing — all essential for success at A-Level and beyond.

The Psychology department plays a key role in the school's Sixth Form offer, and many students go on to study the subject at university. The department also contributes to interdisciplinary work across Science and Humanities, with opportunities to co-lead PSHE, wellbeing initiatives, or even whole-school mental health literacy programmes.

Experience and Qualifications

• Qualified Psychology Teacher with QTS or equivalent qualification
• Experience delivering GCSE and/or A-Level Psychology (AQA preferred)
• A deep understanding of research methodology and psychological theory
• Ability to inspire students and support high academic achievement
• Legal right to work in the UK
