Our client, Vehicle body builders and repairers, is an independent vehicle body repair company that has been progressing steadily since September 2022. The company undertakes both bodywork and mechanical repairs, ensuring vehicles are restored to a safe and fully functional condition. Their bodywork services include panel replacement, dent repair, and paint refinishing, while their mechanical services covers area such as suspension, steering, braking, and other essential components affected by accidents. With experienced technicians and modern repair facilities, ARS delivers a complete, reliable solution that addresses both the cosmetic and mechanical needs of vehicles.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Vehicle body builders and repairers (SoC: 5232) Vehicle body builders and repairers at ARS Accident Repair Solutions LTD restore and rebuild vehicle bodies after damage or wear. Their role involves repairing dents, fixing rusted or corroded areas, carrying out sheet metal work, and replacing or aligning damaged panels. They handle both exterior and interior fittings, ensuring doors, bumpers, wings, trims, dashboards, and interior panels are correctly installed and functioning. They also prepare vehicles for paintwork through sanding, priming, and refinishing to achieve a high-quality finish. Alongside bodywork, they support general garage operations by carrying out basic mechanical repairs, servicing, and MOT-related fixes, helping ensure every vehicle leaves the workshop safe, presentable, and fully road-ready.

SALARY RANGE: GBP £33400, depending upon experience

LOCATION: Unit 14, 49 Lewisher Road, Leicester, LE4 9LR

JOB TYPE: Full-time, permanent. 37.5 hours per week.
