Bookkeeper | Leicester/Hybrid | Interim with potential to go permanent | Open to both part time & full time hours (to be agreed at interview stage) | Salary £30,000-£40,000

We’re recruiting on behalf of a Leicester‑based business who are looking for a hands‑on Bookkeeper to help manage and maintain day‑to‑day finance activity across a growing group of entities.

This role will suit someone practical, organised and confident working autonomously, who enjoys being close to the detail and keeping financial processes running smoothly.

Contract duration: Initially 3–6 months, with the potential to extend or become permanent

The Company

Seymour John are partnering with a growing organisation, based in Leicester, who are looking to recruit an Interim Bookkeeper / Finance Support professional to join their team. The business is well regarded for its collaborative working environment and is seeking someone hands‑on to support day‑to‑day finance activity during a period of growth.

The Opportunity

Key responsibilities will include:

You will play a key role in supporting the finance function, taking responsibility for core bookkeeping and reporting tasks, including:

* Day‑to‑day bookkeeping across multiple entities

* Preparation of monthly management accounts

* Bank reconciliations and investigation of variances

* Processing invoices, expenses and journals

* Monitoring and supporting cashflow tracking

* Maintaining accurate, well‑organised financial records

* Supporting ad‑hoc finance tasks as required to keep everything up to date

Personal Profile

We’re looking for a finance professional with strong bookkeeping experience, comfortable managing day‑to‑day financial activity in a fast moving environment. You will be highly organised and detail‑focused, with the ability to work across multiple entities, maintain accurate records and keep financial processes running smoothly.
