A growing and ambitious secondary school in Hinckley is seeking a Geography ECT to join its collaborative Humanities faculty from January 2026 .
The Role
You will teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 , following a knowledge-rich curriculum that balances physical and human geography with real-world relevance. Fieldwork is carefully planned and supported, with local case studies embedded into the curriculum.
The department is highly supportive of ECTs and values shared planning, discussion and reflection.
ECT Support
You’ll receive:
Reduced timetable and phased responsibilities
Weekly mentoring sessions with a Geography specialist
Access to Humanities CPD and subject networks
Support with curriculum planning and assessment design
