ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
Job Title - Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location - Leicester Salary - Up to £40,000 Shift - Permanent Early Shift (6:00am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday) Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a modern, high-volume toilet paper manufacturing site. The company has heavily invested in advanced converting lines, automated packing systems, and continuous improvement projects, making it an excellent workplace for engineers seeking career development, technical growth, and long-term stability. You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of automated and semi-automated tissue production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and production efficiency. You will work on equipment including: Tissue converting lines Winders and rewinders Log saws Wrapping and bagging machines Shrink wrap systems Conveyors and baling equipment Sector - Industrial Manufacturing (Tissue / Hygiene Products) Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory Essential Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer Strong hands-on electrical fault-finding experience Experience working with three-phase systems, motors, sensors, relays and inverters Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) Experience working within a manufacturing environment Desirable Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer Basic PLC fault-finding knowledge Experience within FMCG, tissue, paper, packaging or high-speed production environments Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will benefit from: Working for a stable, growing and market-leading manufacturing business Permanent early shift pattern (excellent work-life balance) Company benefits package including pension and life insurance Overtime opportunities Ongoing training and development opportunities Long-term career progression within engineering If you are interested in this role and feel that you have the right skills, then please click apply at the bottom of this advert.
