The Role

As a Senior Cross Sectional Radiographer with leadership responsibilities, you will:

• Deliver a high-quality CT and/or MRI imaging service, ensuring patient safety and excellent clinical outcomes.
• Take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of the imaging department.
• Act as deputy to the Imaging Manager, stepping in to lead the team in their absence.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop radiographers, helpers, and students to maintain exceptional standards.
• Lead by example, embedding Spire's values and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
• Oversee equipment checks, compliance with safety regulations, and support audit and quality assurance processes.
• Support service planning and innovation, helping the department to meet patient and business needs.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Radiography with HCPC registration.
• Proven experience as a Radiographer in an imaging department with CT and/or MRI expertise.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD and professional development.
• Demonstratable strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and develop others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to deputise for senior management.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a team lead/ managerial role
• Experience in private healthcare.
• Involvement in audits, clinical governance, or service development.
• MRI Cardiac Scanning experience.
