The Role

As Store Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the performance and day-to-day running of the showroom.

You will:

• Lead, inspire, and develop your team to achieve sales targets
• Experience within menswear, tailoring, or fashion retail
• Background in formalwear or premium retail environments
• Deliver a premium, personalised customer experience
• Drive store performance through strong commercial awareness
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and presentation
• Manage staffing, rotas, and day-to-day operations
• Handle customer queries and ensure issues are resolved professionally
• Oversee stock control, POS processes, and in-store promotions

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail management or supervisory role
• Proven ability to drive sales and meet targets
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Well-organised with the ability to manage a busy retail environment
• Flexible and reliable, with weekend availability

Desirable (Not Essential)

• Experience with appointment-based retail or personal styling
• Strong visual merchandising skills
• Confidence in upselling and building long-term customer relationships

What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day

• Leading from the front to create a welcoming and engaging store environment
• Providing personalised styling advice to customers
• Training and coaching staff to deliver excellent service
• Managing rotas, holiday cover, and team performance
• Ensuring the showroom is well-presented, organised, and fully stocked
• Handling transactions, promotions, and operational processes
• Maintaining high standards across the shop floor and stockroom
