English Teacher - Hinckley, Leicestershire - January 2026
An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Hinckley is looking to appoint a committed Teacher of English to join its successful English department from January 2026.
English plays a central role in the school’s curriculum, with a strong emphasis on literacy, communication and student confidence. The department has recently refreshed its curriculum to include a balance of classic texts and contemporary voices.
You will be responsible for:
Teaching English across KS3–KS4 (KS5 available for the right candidate)
Delivering engaging lessons in Literature and Language
Supporting whole-school literacy initiatives
Using assessment to drive progress and intervention
