Sales Office Estimator - FastClad

Company: Advanced Construction Systems Ltd (ACS) About the Role - Sales Office Estimator We are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Sales Office Estimator to support enquiries and quotations for our FastClad brick slip cladding systems. This role will suit someone with experience in estimating, construction materials, or technical sales support, who is confident working from architectural and construction drawings and comfortable managing multiple enquiries simultaneously. Working closely with our General Manager, Project Engineers and factory team, you will be responsible for assessing project requirements, quantifying materials, and producing accurate quotations while maintaining an organised pipeline of live opportunities. This is a key role within a small, technically focused team where accuracy, commercial awareness and initiative are highly valued. Key Responsibilities of a Sales Office Estimator Handle incoming enquiries (phone and online) relating to FastClad system
Review architectural and construction drawings to quantify material requirements
Assess project suitability and provide basic technical guidance on product use
Prepare budget quotations and full quotations based on project specifications
Register and track projects within the company CRM/database
Liaise with project engineers and the factory team to ensure quotations are technically accurate and manufacturable
Maintain an organised quotation pipeline, tracking project progress and likelihood of conversion
Maintain clear electronic records of drawings, quotations and project information Essential Skills & Experience of a Sales Office Estimator Ability to read and interpret construction or architectural drawings
Experience quantifying materials or products from drawings
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing quotations
Good understanding of construction processes and materials
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong written and verbal communication skills Personal Attributes of a Sales Office Estimator Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Commercially aware with a practical approach to problem solving
Confident communicating with customers, engineers and production teams
Self-motivated and able to take ownership of your workload Desirable (but not essential) Experience within façade systems, cladding, brick slip systems, or external envelope products
Experience in construction product manufacturing or specialist subcontracting
Experience in a construction estimating role
Familiarity with take-offs and estimating software INDS What We Offer Salary £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
