An academically ambitious and well-led 11–18 secondary school in Loughborough is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Teacher of History to join its Humanities team from January 2026 .
The Role
You will teach History across KS3–KS4 , with KS5 available for experienced candidates. The department has a reputation for high-quality written work, structured enquiry questions and excellent support for students aiming for top grades.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering clear, chronological and thematic teaching
- Supporting exam preparation through modelling and scaffolded writing
- Using retrieval practice and low-stakes assessment routinely
- Leading or supporting historical visits locally and regionally
