What you will take on
As part of our structured Graduate Programme, you’ll:
Produce regular reports and carry out ad hoc analysis to identify trends, generate insights, and propose innovative solutions
Perform in-depth analysis to identify risks and opportunities within existing processes and decisioning strategies
Work with multiple data sources using Microsoft Databricks to inform and enhance credit risk strategies
- Collaborate with teams across the business—including contact centre, marketing, customer experience, and technology—to implement portfolio strategies
Develop expertise in credit risk, balancing commercial objectives with regulatory requirements
- Present insights and strategic recommendations using data visualisations tools like PowerBi to stakeholders, influencing decision-making
What you will bring
The Credit & Risk team run a business that generates >£180m profit annually. We’re seeking talented graduates who are motivated by high-impact decision making and are commercially driven.
The ideal candidate will have:
A predicted or achieved 2:1 degree (or above) in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related/STEM discipline
Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel and ideally, experience with SQL/Python or similar tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
A proactive, driven attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Confidence in presenting insights and influencing decisions
