English Teacher
About the Role: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Leicester. This is a full-time position with an end date to be confirmed, offering an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Support students in developing strong literacy, analytical, and communication skills
- Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- A genuine passion for education and student development
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
