KS1 Teacher — Leicester

A well-established Good primary in Leicester is seeking a creative and reflective KS1 Teacher to join its Key Stage 1 phase on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The successful KS1 Teacher will be involved in collaborative planning before the January 2026 start, will attend induction sessions in January 2026, and will be teaching from January 2026 as the KS1 Teacher. The KS1 Teacher role in practice
As the KS1 Teacher you will lead daily phonics, guided reading and creative writing sequences, using careful formative assessment to inform targeted small-group interventions. The KS1 Teacher will plan well-structured mathematics sequences that develop conceptual understanding and fluency. The KS1 Teacher will liaise with families, lead transition activities and be an active member of the phase team, participating in moderation and curriculum development work before January 2026 and after January 2026.
