Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests as they arrive at the restaurant and escorting them to their table
• Presenting menus to guests and taking orders for food and drinks
• Making recommendations to guests regarding food and beverage selections
• Serving food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
• Checking on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues
• Processing payment for meals and handling cash and credit card transactions
• Assisting with the setup and clean-up of the restaurant before and after service
• Cleaning and resetting tables for the next guests
• Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure that food and beverages are delivered accurately and on time

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail, highly organised and capable of handling multiple tasks
• A proactive self-starter who can work independently with good judgement and minimal direction
