This is an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Support Worker to come and join our expanding team at Mill Lodge.
Mill Lodge is a 14 bedded Specialist Unit caring for patients diagnosed with Huntington's disease. Huntingtons Disease is a rare, inherited disease that causes the progressive breakdown (degeneration) of nerve cells in the brain. Huntington's disease has a wide impact on a person's functional abilities and usually results in movement, thinking (cognitive) and psychiatric disorders.
The role of the HCSW will be to work as part of the nursing team and support people with both their physical health and their mental health needs whilst working collaboratively with other members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a healthcare setting, excellent communication skills and passionate about providing great care to patients.

Please note that the Healthcare Assistants work a rota system of Long Days (12 hr shifts) Day and Night covering a 7-day working week.
We can offer Part time and Full time posts, however the minimum you will be required to work is 23 hours per week.
These are also permanent roles not bank roles and candidates will require their own right to work in the UK as we are unable to offer sponsorship.
