About the role:

We’re hiring Recruitment Resourcer to lead talent attraction and candidate engagement for our engineering division, driving stronger pipelines and quality hires . The role will combine hands on sourcing, candidate experience ownership and stakeholder partnership to deliver high quality short and long‑term hires. The successful candidate will act as a senior point of contact for clients, coach more junior recruiters, and drive continuous improvement across processes and systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for assigned vacancies: manage briefs with clients, design sourcing strategies, shortlist candidates, coordinate interviews and support offer negotiation to achieve time-to-hire and quality targets.

• Senior stakeholder management: build trusted relationships with clients, provide regular recruitment update meetings, and consult on workforce planning and role design.

• Candidate experience and employer brand: own the candidate journey from attraction to onboarding, ensuring consistent communication, timely feedback and positive experience that supports retention.

• Coaching and development: mentor and support junior talent team members, share best practice sourcing techniques, and contribute to team training sessions to raise capability and performance.

• Proactive sourcing and talent pipelining: use direct sourcing, networking, social media, job boards and ATS to build diverse pipelines for current and future demand.

• Process and compliance: ensure recruitment activity complies with internal policies and relevant employment legislation; support continuous improvement projects and system optimisations.

• Support flexible working patterns including occasional evenings or site visits as required by hiring needs.

Who we’re looking for:

• Experience: Significant, demonstrable experience in end-to-end recruitment or talent acquisition for engineering roles.

• Commercial acumen: Comfortable partnering with engineering leadership and hiring managers, prioritising technical vacancies based on business impact and project deadlines, and identifying opportunities to improve time‑to‑hire, quality of hire and recruitment cost.

• Technical: Confident using ATS/CRM systems, engineering-focused sourcing tools (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter, CV databases) and reporting dashboards; able to interpret pipeline and performance data to inform hiring decisions and optimise recruitment workflows.

• Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder‑influencing skills with technical and non‑technical audiences, strong assessment and competency-based interviewing capability for engineering profiles, proactive problem‑solving and effective time and workload management across multiple requisitions.

• Attributes: Collaborative and credible with engineers and hiring managers, resilient in competitive talent markets, adaptable to changing project requirements, and committed to candidate fairness, technical understanding and continuous learning in the engineering domain.
