Retirement Living Scheme Coordinator

Sellick Partnership Ltd is supporting a Supported Housing organisation in the East Midlands to recruit to a Scheme Coordinator on a temporary ongoing basis.

Scheme Coordinator

Leicester, Leicestershire

3-6 Months Temporary

£16.93 Umbrella or PAYE equivalent

Part Time, Monday to Friday 9-1PM

Duties of the Scheme Manager role will include, but is not limited to:

Providing intensive housing management service at scheme to older residents living in supported scheme living
Assisting those in sites across bungalows and cat-1
Facilitating residents on site
Monitoring the performance of contractors
Assisting customers to pay bills and claim benefits
Providing onsite management and supervision of sheltered housing schemes with regard to security, health and safety & maintenance, ensuring that communal areas and scheme office are kept clean, tidy and free from hazards.
Carrying out statutory and cyclic H&S checks
Undertaking pre tenancy interviews and accompanied viewings, assessment of housing needs and sign ups to ensure sustainability of tenure for the applicant
Managing low level ASB working in conjunction with the Housing team
Minimising arrears, ensuring that the process is understood and agreements for repayment of any debt are madeThe successful Scheme Coordinator candidate will have:

Relevant Supported Housing/ Scheme Coordination experience
Hold a Basic DBS or able to undertake a satisfactory basic check
