As an Administration Assistant for LD Access Team you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administration service to a specific area of the LD Service which will include supporting a clinical team.
In addition to that you will be required to cover the reception which will include meeting and greeting patients face to face and answering the telephone in a timely manner.
This is a diverse role and you will be working in a busy and fast paced environment within a team that value and support each other.

Job Description Summary (Main duties and responsibilities)
To provide high quality, responsive and co-ordinated administrative support to the Learning Disability Access Team Working collaboratively with clinical teams, GP Practices, and external agencies to ensure that accurate health records are maintained, and services are provided based on clinical need.
- To provide effective administrative support to the Learning Disability Access Team that ensures all referrals are managed within an effective timescale.
- To provide a friendly and efficient Reception Service and ensuring essential resources and equipment are maintained
- To accurately use and maintain clinical and information systems within specified timescales.
- To provide high quality customer care and to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) skills and have the ability to meet the needs of clients with barriers to understanding and access to learning disability services, either via telephone, electronic forms of communication or face to face
- To develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and external partners
- To provide and demonstrate high quality customer care to anyone accessing the service
